Gorgeous colorless (DEF) and near colorless (GHI) Charles and Colvard brand moissanite. Unique Old European cut moissanite, with big chunky sparkle. OEC stones feature few facets, a more prominent table and a sweet little facet on the culet (the pointy end!). Old European cut stones have an antique feel that also works well with modern settings. I love the bouncy sparkle that comes with fewer and larger facets.
Select the right size for your dream ring and have a setting custom made in your size, or purchase the stone only for a pre-existing setting. Moissanite has a hardness grade second only to diamond itself. Durable, beautiful, eco-friendly.
What is moissanite?
Moissanite is a rare, naturally occurring mineral also known as silicon carbide, which was first discovered by the Nobel Prize-winning chemist, Dr. Henri Moissan, at the site of a massive meteorite strike in Arizona. This intriguing new stone was named “moissanite” in his honor. It has a unique brilliance and fire that is very similar to diamond. Its durability and ease of care make it a great choice of engagement rings. Charles and Colvard moissanite is a lab created mineral, grown and cut here in the United States.
